FLIPPED CLASSROOM

INJURIES VOCABULARY SPANISH/ENGLISH

After summer, we are starting a new school year again!!!

This year I will try to teach some classes in English... "May the Force be with me" (que la Fuerza me acompañe).

My new contribution: I was "injuried" 2 weeks the last year. In that time, I looked for some information about my "hurt" and related words with it.

I leave you a specific glossary of INJURIES in this blog.

I hope it was useful to everybody (If you didn't play sports and stay at the beach for all the day, maybe you feel your body a bit tired and painful)

I say the same thing: If somebody think that some term is wrong, don't doubt you say me.

You can add more specific words. It would be awesome!!! Thanks See you soon

SECOND SESSION. DIFFERENT ASSESSMENTS

Hi evevrybody,
The second course weekend learnt different forms of assessment: some resources we can use, some strategies we can tried and how we can taste pupils progress.
I felt more secure this time than the past weekend when I taugh my class, but I know I need to practice more.
I think the blackboard is very useful if we want our pupils assesses theirself. It is the main resource than we have used. We can write the contents than we want to assess and pupils can look it while they play.
We taught "the baseball pass of the basketball". We explained step to step each content and pupils practiced later. They had to look to their partners and say them the content they were doing correctly. When they had done the exercises several times, they must say theirself how had they done it. For that, we gave them some sentences they colud use: "Well done, you did......, but you pay attention to.....". We think this feedback would help them to do better the next time.
If they did the 3-5 content we put, they had to do the same exercise further. If they didn't it, they had to repeat in the same position.
Finally, we did a game "Balls out". It was 2 groups with some balls divided in 2 courts. They had to throw all the balls to the against court, but they had to throw into a basket.
We did it to pupils tasted their progress in this content through the game.
It did a great experience
Now I will try to do in my real classes
